New Blog starts now!

So I've had this blog for a couple of years, I started rambling on it every so often after getting married during a cold winter and then lost interest (probably in myself as much as in it) and it fell by the wayside... lately I've toyed with the idea of resurecting it, and seeing how i'll grow and learn about myself again by blogging... I used to love journalling when i was training to be a counsellor... I've also been inspired by a few friends, old and new... who also blog... so what the heck... why not open up the old site... give it a fresher more current look and see where that takes me!

So... welcome....If you've found your way here it's most likely because you already know me... (instagram link), or because my blog came up on your feed... either way.. thanks for stopping by!

I don't know how often or regularly i'll blog... but i'll keep my instagram pals in the loop!

To start off I guess I could open with what made me finally decide to start blogging...honestly... i'm a bit lost, where my own health and fitness is concerned!

That typical statement of marriage making you comfortable rang true for me, I've always been the on the slimmer side. At 5 "3 I carry any of my weight on my hips, butt & thighs and as i've gotten older, they've expanded! and its true... its harder to lose as you get older

Since We got married in 2015, I've just continued to eat worse, and my weight reached its heaviest... don't get me wrong... many say i'm still slim and I dont wanna spend this post lamenting, poor me!, about my rough weight issues, because i'm not obese,... but i'm overweight, and unhappy with it.

I started weightwatchers via their app last year and was shocked at how much crap I was putting into my body.

We have a beautiful 4 year old Golden Retreiver who we got when she was 18months old, we got her on my birthday exactly a month after we got married, and honestly shes just the best... shes quite lazy but shes a guaranteed long walk and lots of fun and cuddles and the positive impact she's had on both Richard and my health is fab!...but I always start these great plans of how to improve my fitness, lose weight etc and then i lose interest, or a short illness breaks the flow!

So maybe this blog will keep me accountable... and help me get ideas from you folks about how to just keep at it!!

here's hoping it works!

my first planned post under the health & fitness banner will be my fitness blocks and struggles and where i'm at with them atm also.
